Caregivers need support at the oddest times
Wednesday, June 01, 2011
Often the only time a family caregiver can find to him or herself is in the wee hours of the morning, if the person is, like me, a morning person, or in the late night hours if the opposite is true. There's something calming about the dark, still hours that leads to a meditative mood, but also to a mood where sharing one's story feels right. The Internet has made possible a connection between family caregivers that was not even a dream when my caregiving years began. Now, caregiver support is available when caregivers need it - 24/7.
