It's a rare event for me to ask readers to share, Tweet or in any other way you can think of spread the word on a project so you know that this one is special. This short film,  titled The 8th Year of the Emergency, written and directed by Maureen Towey, depicts an Alzheimer's family. It's less than 14 minutes long and is more than worth your time. The film is adapted from an Elinor Fuchs book about her own caregiver journey for her mother who lived with  Alzheimer's.

The cast is packed with Tony and Emmy nominated actors including Mary Beth Peil (The Good Wife), Phillipa Soo (Hamilton), and Jeffrey DeMunn (Billions). Our original score is composed by Caroline Shaw who has a Pulitzer and our editor, Sarah Broshar, normally works for Spielberg. Towey has a background in creative aging projects having co-created The Penelope Project with MacArthur winner Anne Basting.
Again, here is the link. Let's help this get some attention!
