For some, especially those who are willing to learn how to work with people living with dementia in ways that can smooth out the tough areas, this works out well all the way through. Many, however, can make it work until complete incontinence becomes an issue. This is a big challenge because the incontinence person is incapable of understanding their own incontinence.
